Cocktail Party LP 3

🕒

Hello everyone!

Do you want to learn more about materials development? Ever wondered how useful a PhD is outside of academia? Do you like free food and drinks? My name is Pontus Lindgren and I am vice chairman of the educational committee at the physics and mathematics student division, SNF™. The educational committee has organized cocktail parties for many years to enable students and teachers to meet under less formal circumstances. We will hold a cocktail party this Thursday the 23rd of January for all students studying physics or math at Chalmers, at bachelor’s or master’s level. The cocktail party opens with a lecture (in Swedish) by Magnus Rahm. He holds a PhD in Physics from Chalmers and is currently CTO of a Gothenburg startup aiming to digitalize material development. The lecture starts at 17:16 in KE. After the lecture, we will be serving free food and drinks in the physics department staffroom. The first 90 participants at the lecture are guaranteed entrance, and the rest are allowed if there is space. We will be giving out food tickets from about 17:10 at the entrance to the auditorium.
