Trip to CERN: Still seats left!

There’s still time and space left to sign up for the most educational and exciting trip of the year: the trip to CERN! Seize the opportunity to visit the world’s largest particle accelerator, where the Higgs boson that led to the Nobel prize was detected!

We go to Geneva by bus on the 3rd of June and are back the 8th. On the Thursday, we’ll be getting a guided tour of CERN, and on the Friday we’ll get to meet scientists who’ll show us some extra special things and talk about what it’s like to work there, as well as what the future possibilities are for us. The rest of the trip you’re free to spend time in beautiful Geneva. We’ll be living in a nice youth hostel where breakfast is included.

All this costs only 2000 SEK for members of the Physics Student Guild, and 3000 SEK for non-members. Everyone is welcome to sign up. The last payment date is the 26th of May. No payment by then results in loss of place.

For more information and to sign up, email cernresa@gmail.com with your name and programme, and you’ll receive more specific information about the trip as well as payment details.
